I was recently commissioned by Brookworth Homes to photograph their latest show home at a premium development in Crowborough, East Sussex.
Known for their impeccable craftsmanship and high-specification finishes, Brookworth Homes builds some of the most desirable luxury properties in the South East. It was essential that the photography reflected this level of quality both technically and emotionally.
Photographing a show home goes beyond simply documenting the space. It requires a careful balance between striking wide shots that convey flow and scale, and close-up details that highlight the materials, textures and styling choices that define the interior design.
Throughout the shoot and editing process, I focused on keeping the images feeling natural and true to the experience of being in the space. Rather than relying on automated HDR techniques. For these photographs, I used careful lighting, colour balance and subtle post-production composites to maintain authenticity and also bring out colours and textures. The goal was to present the interiors at their best without making them feel artificial or staged.
The aim was to produce a complete suite of high-quality images that could support a wide range of marketing activity. From hero shots for brochures and websites to detail images for social media and digital campaigns, every photograph was captured with flexibility and long-term use in mind.
By creating a comprehensive set of assets, the photography not only showcases the property at its best but also provides the client with versatile content that adds ongoing value across all channels and reinforces the strength of the luxury brand.
