ABOUT

I’ve been a commercial and portrait photographer for 24 years, in London and Reigate, Surrey. Shooting locally, across the UK and around the world.

My work spans everything from corporate marketing to magazine editorials, with specialities in portrait, location, architectural, healthcare and aerial drone photography. I’ve earned the trust of a mix of regular clients, including governmental departments, big multinationals, public bodies and local independent businesses.

Architecture & Interiors

I photograph residential and commercial property for developers, investors and architects. Creating iconic imagery of properties and architecture for use on websites, brochures and advertisements. The photographs I take comprise of precise composition, the best light and attention to detail. High-resolution cameras, wireless tethering and tilt-shift lenses that correct for perspective and digital post production are all part of my workflow. .

Corporate Portraiture & Headshots

I capture corporate portraits and headshots on location using either an environmental background or a plain seamless background. My method is about putting people at ease and capturing a subject looking relaxed and approachable. Utilising either minimal lighting equipment or natural daylight. I enjoy making the process easy for everyone involved while crafting an image which best reflects my clients brand, either through lighting, location or a particular pose.

Aerial Drone Photography

I am a fully qualified UAV pilot with a valid CAA permission for commercial Operations (PDRA01) for unmanned aircraft with a Maximum Take-Off Mass/flying weight of less than 25kgs within the UK.

Large Format Film

I shoot on film both large format and medium format black and white film. There is no quality advantage over digital in shooting on film and it boils down to your own preference and what you feel is right for you. Film offers the chance to obtain a unique experience and an object of fine art. We are used to a fast stream of imagery which may only last a moment and be consumed by an unending flow of digital imagery. Film offers the chance to slow down reject on the experience and hold in your hands a print of the finest quality likely to outlast any digital image.

The portrait

I enjoy making the process easy for everyone involved while crafting a character study or an image which best reflects my clients brand and persona.

Bespoke Printing

Printing giclee fine art upto A3 is available in house and traditional resign or fibre based prints can be purchased also. Each print can be a unique hand crafted object to treasure or gift to someone.
